Hello November!?
What a wild month! We were rained out of our annual Fall pack walk at Devil’s Den unfortunately but will shift back to a local park early spring to make it easier for some dogs / people to attend! I drove deep into Arkansas on Friday to get my final glimpse of colors across this amazing state we call home and it was incredible!
Thanksgiving means we will probably be at capacity and at some point not take any new clients as I have a local crew and some of my dog walkers and overnight staff are students who go home on big holidays! We extend our local team as far as they can and I have one new hire and one seasonal helper coming too but I always encourage people to book early! Last minute requests won’t. be possible for us this year!
Mid day openings on Springdale / Johnson and Fayetteville! Standard dog walks are 20 minutes and extended are 1/2 hour and we even have a 15 minute potty break for backyards! Package options exist for our regular mid day clients who prepay for 20 walks and save 3$ a walk (potty break packages save you 2$)
You see the GPS route of the dog walker and a digital report card and custom note with 6 images minimum and a short video sent! We use a digital platform and app called Time to Pet that is where all scheduling, invoices paid, and chats with your sitter come! You can see banner alerts on your phone the moment they arrive and the moment they leave1.
Pet sitting is often 3 visits a day and great for animals who are more comfortable at home than boarding facilities! We care for both the animals and the home, meaning mail and packages brought in, plants watered, and for animals feeding/ play /potty and med management if applicable!
We love what we do!

Thank you so much for taking an interest in Solgave! It’s a Norwegian word translated from “sol- sun” and “gave-gift” so it means “gift of the sun” and we started in Scandinavia with horses and dogs but launched a full service animal care where I went to college and grew up and still has non profit dreams tied to healing humans with animal and nature support
We can’t wait to talk to you about what we do!
