July Updates for Animal Care
I can’t believe this summer is already cruising right on by! We are introducing new staff this month, Tiffany will be announced after Tess official staff bio goes up today! Our team is 5 deep for the area we currently cover which is Farmington, Fayetteville, Johnson, East Springdale and as of the end of July we can cover Tontitown and West Springdale!
My newest hire will be living that direction giving us a wider coverage than last summer!
Who are we and what do we do? We are dreamers who see the animal care part of Solgave’s model as a vital link to our non profit dreams where animals and nature help heal the human spirit.
Ultimately, we see peace of mind to family’s while they work or travel, and our reputation depends on that quality of work.
Our formula is simple! Improve by 1% every day and strive to be better the version we were last month!
Last September we made the jump to professional software and since then we have not looked back! It provides GPS start and end points, GPS routes for all dog walking clients, timer function, and most importantly complete oversight by our admin and management.
Every sitter that is one hour late means I get notified. I get to see all the interactions with clients and we coach with positive reinforcement model and want our team to have meaningful check ins with their clients.
We work as a team of 5, so while every family has a primary sitter they develop a relationship with, you will ultimately have 2 people familiar with the home so that if the sitter is sick, or on vacation or just requested a day off they can take that.
Pet sitting is a great alternative to boarding because the animals are at home where they are used to! And also plants live there that need watering this time of year. Our job is animal care and home care management. So mail, packages, plants watered, whatever the client guides us to do in the allotted time given. Most commonly these are 3 visits a day at times that might be 7AM – 1PM and 7PM with the last and first visit never breaking our 12 hour rule.
Overnight care is 65$ for an overnight experience where the sitter stays at your home and sleeps there from evening feeding and stays through morning feeding / potty and play. Clients can add in a potty break or longer visit mid day to give complete coverage while away!
The more details you give when we onboard you onto our digital platform, the better and easier it is for your sitter!
And finally our mid day clients are where we do dog walking and potty break services for working professional while they are at work! These are 15, 20 minute, or even 1/2 hour visits! You build a really deep relationship with this caretaker who is essentially your pet nanny! We are part of the team if you will, that cares for things you care about! We have package discounts for regulars who buy 20 walks at a time. Ask us about those specials!
