We are 9 months into our shift into professional pet sitting software and continue to slowly keep growing! If you are reading this, we are glad you found us! Solgave is a Norwegian word that translates to “gift of the sun” and was formed by the mother of my son and I while living in Norway and preparing to move back to my hometown and where I went to college, Fayetteville, Arkansas
The business was sold to a staff member for 3 years and I bought it back in 2019 and we have relaunched with our initial vision, and hopes for non profit dreams by 2028. The initial project was using animals and nature to facilitate healing in the human spirit holistically. Solgave Animal Solutions is a professional animal care company riding on the back of a more altruistic dream that shows up in how we do work.
Whether walking dogs or providing pet care, everything we do is intentional. Dog walking brings health and mindfulness to our team and we provide lower anxiety and better health for the pups! A big part of our business is mid day service for working professionals (and some students).
That may be a quick potty break in the back yard, or a 20 -30 minute walk!
Our dog walking clients see full GPS route of the movements the sitter made, we use an app clients and walkers / sitters communicate through that shares lots of images, digital report and so much more! Now our clients book their own trips or needs through the app once they get activated and part of our system!
Summer is coming which means TRAVEL care. We are really animal and home care managers, we watch for mail, can water plants, we bring in packages by your door and show a photo of where it was placed. Safety and security is everything to us and what we sell is “peace of mind”

Pet sitting is often 3 times a day and a great alternative to boarding, overnight care is 10 hours guaranteed (usually more like 12) where we arrive by evening feed and potty and stay through the morning feed/ potty/ play and then we can arrange the mid service of your choice.
I have 5 for our Fayetteville area (we cover Farmington, Johnson, E Springdale and Fayetteville currently) You will have 1 primary sitter assigned and another will soon be fully aware of the home as a backup. Everyone has their own assignments but people get to request days off, take sick days if needed, and we never miss a beat. I as owner, am the ultimate backup but most travel clients and all mid day clients do have a second team member aware of the home. Through the app all details of feeding and care are organized really well which makes fill ins easy. Not something we have to do often, but it’s nice to know we do when needed.
Weather is special right now! Tess is building a new dog walking route, Kailan and myself have fully established routes and the rest of the team handles most of the vacation crew.
We are bringing in 1 more team member soon to help us with summer flow! Summer vacations are good to book now and secure, especially if you desire overnights!
